We respect your privacy and handle data in line with Japan's APPI.
What we collect
(1) Email and display name if you create an account; (2) your watchlist ('My Box') — stored only in your own browser via localStorage, never sent to our servers; (3) analytics (Google Analytics 4) and ad-measurement identifiers, applied according to your region's consent rules. We do not run a newsletter and do not collect email addresses for one.
Cookies & consent
Where consent rules apply (e.g. EEA/UK), analytics and ad-measurement run in a cookieless, consent-respecting mode unless permitted. Elsewhere, standard measurement applies. Settings follow your region automatically.
Purpose
To provide the service, improve quality, and optimise content and ads.
Third parties
We do not share personal data without consent except as required by law. Analytics uses Google Analytics 4 (IP anonymised).
Retention & deletion
We delete data when no longer needed. Your 'My Box' watchlist never reaches us at all — it is stored only in your own browser, and clearing your browser's site data for this site deletes it outright, without asking us. An account is different: the email and display name you give it are held on our servers, there is no self-serve delete button on this site today, and we publish no channel to request deletion through (see Contact). Until both exist we would rather you did not open one — nothing on this site requires an account, and everything you can read, you can read without one.
Contact
We do not yet publish a contact address for TOKI, and we will not point you at one that does not exist: there is no contact page, email address or form on this site, and no mailbox at this domain, so any address you are shown as TOKI's is not ours. We are not going to dress that up — a site that collects an email address should be reachable by the person who gave it, and this one is not yet. Two things follow, and we hold ourselves to both until a working, monitored channel is published: we will collect no personal data beyond the account email and display name described above, and we will ship no feature that depends on you being able to reach us. Publishing that channel comes before either changes.
